dominant monocrystalline and polycrystalline quartz, lithic fragments (quartzite and weathered rocks), rare glauconite. Bioclasts: numerous longitudinal shell fragments, rare echinoderm fragments. Rare micritic ooids, small rounded intraclasts of micritic limestone (mudstone). Frequent irregular fragments of black charcoal. Poekilotopic calcite cement.
Texture
Badly to medium sorted, subrounded to subangular sand grains. Grain size: fine: 60-200 microns
Structure
preferential orientation of longitudinal shell fragments and phosphate grains.
