Reduced fabric with redbrown core and dark brown edges; brown to dark brown (PPL), brown to dark brown (XP).
Semi-heterogeneous matrix, non-calcareous with low to medium optical activity.

Quartz (++; mono+, poly-, cf: sr, fine to coarse sand, ff: sr-sa, very fine to fine sand), sedimentary rock detritus (-; quartz arenite), chert (-), feldspars (+; plagioclase, microcline, r-sr, cf & ff), muscovite mica (++; eq & el, cf & ff), O/Fe (+), clay pellets (+; iron-rich).
The coarse fraction consists of fine to coarse sand, the fine fraction consists of fine to very fine sand. Grains are generally subrounded to subangular. Overall the fabric is very poorly sorted and moderately to poorly orientated, single to double spaced.

Many small planar voids and few larger vughs, well aligned, no infill.

- The fabric is characterized by a semi-heterogeneous reduced matrix with low to no optical activity and moderate porosity. Dominant quartz and muscovite mica inclusions with frequent feldspars, opaques/iron oxides and semiplastics/clay pellets, and few sedimentary rock detritus and chert. Overall very poorly sorted fabric.
